Georgia shared the story of her father coming to Cowley County by covered wagon in 1869. At that time the city of Winfield had not be established and the area was prairie. She shared her memories of growing up on the farm from milking cows to tending crops of alfalfa, maize, and wheat. Georgia lived her whole life in Winfield and had many memories to share.
