Dear Miss Crawford,
Thank you for your kind words for my Little House books. I am so glad you find "These Happy Golden Years" a satisfactory ending of the series.
These are such busy days that it is doubtful if I find time to write any more. It is a full time

job for two old people like us to care for our home and each other and no help to be had for either of us.
However stories keep simmering in my mind asking to be told and someday I may try to put them down on paper. Such appreciation as yours is very encouraging to more effort as well as a sweet reward for what has been done.

With kindest personal regards
Sincerely yours
