Rosa shared the story of her family history of settling in Lynn, KS to find better farming land. After 15 years in Lynn, they moved near Enid, OK by train. This was the first train ride for her and her 10 siblings. After she was married for 15 years, they moved to Winfield, KS to allow the kids to get a better education. She also shared memories of her childhood in Oklahoma.
